Telleen's Flare-A-Bou - Fly Project

Fred likes to design flies with a purpose. When he developed the Flash N' Grab, he wanted a flashy streamer on a jig hook that had better movement than the Kreelex and a better profile than the Sparkle Minnow. The Flash N' Grab was the result, and it has become our number one selling streamer in Great Falls, Montana. The Flare-A-Bou takes the best attributes of the Flash N' Grab and replaces some of the flash with pulsating marabou. It's a little more subtle with great movement. The Flare-A-Bou quickly became Fred's go-to trout spey fly the first winter it was tied, and it provided him with some phenomenal swing sessions on the Missouri River. As the seasons changed, Fred discovered it works great as an all-round streamer throughout the year.
