OPST Commando Tips are specifically designed to be paired with our commando heads on everything from your 2-weight switch to your 9-weight king rod. We often worry about getting down deep – and for this reason we make the fast-sinking bucket series. But the reality is most rivers have tons of productive shallower water where the bucket, and many other sink tips, will have you dragging bottom. In periods of high water, riffles and shallower runs become even more important, so we designed our commando tips in slow and moderate sinking riffle and run models as well.
