FOR SMOOTH, LAID-BACK CASTING
The Fly Project Haka was developed with a smooth and laid-back action for smaller waters or dead calm days on the Missouri. We use the most responsive fiberglass that we can find, which makes the Haka quicker than old school glass rods. This rod is surprisingly quick and light, but make no mistake, it’s still a glass rod with a retro slow action. We used a traditional shaped, grade A cork handle, single foot guides, and a translucent teak colored blank.
The word “haka” comes from the New Zealand ceremonial dance and represents a “challenge”.
FLY PROJECT ROD TUBE MANIFESTO
Fly project Haka rods include a quality rod sock. Rod tubes are not included in the price of the rod. We did this to give you the choice of what to spend your money on. Maybe you'd like a rod tube, or maybe you don't need one. Either way, our rods are priced accordingly, and the choice is yours. Read our Rod Tube Manifesto to learn more.
Available in two models.
