Gunnar Brammer says, “This is probably my most productive pattern,
period. This is the gateway drug to
streamer fishing because you can’t fish it wrong.” This is a small sized streamer pattern using
pheasant throughout the body tail which gives is a very natural crayfish
look. The fly is tied on a jig hook so
it can be retrieved with a lot of action, or it can be swung, or it can be dead
drifted. Another big advantage to this
pattern can be fished for many species.
It of course will fish well for trout, but we like it as a smallmouth
pattern as well.
