Jerk Bait aka "Mind of it's Own"

We don't know the origins of this pattern but it intrigued enough to spend some time fishing it for snook in the Everglades. We dubbed this fly the Mind of it's Own because it has a very irratic action. It hovers under the surface, sometimes it wakes on top, and other times it does a perfect subsurface "walk the dog" action. It's a great large profile fly for throwing in shallow zones or muddy areas where the big profile suspended off the bottom is the only way to get them to see it.
