Rene Harrop says the TT nymph or the Turkey Tail nymph is his best nymph ever. Admitly this fly was based off the classic Pheasant Tail nymph but the body consist of Turkey Tail, the tail is wood duck, and the fly uses partridge for the legs. Harrops says the pheasant tail has a very consistent reddish color in the feather while the turkey tail has more variation.
