These Articulated Jig Shanks have a 60 degree bend and a slot for lashing in dumbell eyes with consistant placement. The slot hangs below the center of gravity, keeling the fly so it swims right. What's with the triangular rear loop? It closes the gap between connected shanks so your flies have tighter connections, which means less fouled hooks and realistic movement. Plus, they are easier to grip with the jaws of your vise.
