The AirLock Centerlock indicators are designed with eco friendly foam so those indicators that end up floating away for any reason will break down over time. We believe in keeping our waterways clean. The sensitivity of the eco friendly foam makes strikes easier to detect. The new Centerlock design allows for a more controlled cast, and a more secure positioning due to the tapered clamping surfaces on the inside. You might be wondering, "Why does this indicator look like a hard hat?" Well, it's by design... the textured outer surfaces are used to help with grip and are easier to identify which half you should rotate.
