The Ballistic Double Barrel fly line is a double taper with equal front tapers on both ends and a straight middle section. These qualities make for effortless roll casting and makes mending an easier task. One big advantage of a double taper fly line versus a weight forward line is the lack of a head section, which means you can start your cast whenever without having to strip in the line. This high floating line uses a proprietary coating that also allows for slick shooting, and with the long taper and welded loops on both ends, you can get twice the life out of this line by turning it around.
