Rene Harrop's Hackled Spinner - Brown Drake - 8

The Brown Drakes are a favorite hatch of many in the Midwest, and they make a good showing on localized waters across the country, especially here in the Northwest. The spinners appear at treetop height up to an hour or two before dark, and their clouds descend gradually. Some nights they're so thick they'll cover your hands and shoulders. When that happens, you'll need a couple of these flies in your box.
