The K-9 of the Flats
This pattern is the female spawning version of the original Chicone Coyote Shrimp. Depending on the species of shrimp they often spawn in spring and early summer which is also conveniently when most anglers head to the flats of the Keys, Bahamas, Belize, Mexico and other bonefish and permit destinations.
As Chicone mentions about the original Coyote Shrimp, while living in Arizona for a short stint with his family he discovered the amazing colors and texture of coyote fur and has incorporated it into many of these saltwater patterns that he has spent lots of time testing in the Bahamas, South Florida and Belize.
