This is built on a slightly faster chassis, and beefier butt section for those abrupt, bottom-hand power applications. Touch and go to Skagit casting, floating lines to big sink tips. It's dialed in. The TR2 features more power in the bottom half of the rod to generate greater line speed and help those with a more powerful compact stroke. If you throw the occasional tailing loop, this is your spey rod.
