Kelly Galloup's Goober Midge

Inspired by a previous pattern, the *Goober Caddis*, Kelly Galloup's Goober Midge is a simple pattern designed to look like a midge from a trout's point of view. The Goober Midge can fool some of the pickiest trout, featuring a black body, dear hair wing, grizzly hackle, and micro lateral scale to imitate a skittering adult. As one of the top midge patterns on the Madison River for years, the Goober Midge has also become popular on the Missouri River and Henry's Fork River.
