The FAB (Foam Arsed Blob), as its name describes, is a Blob fly featuring a split foam tail. This stillwater attractor provides a different action to other attractors such as the foam-eyed Booby. A FAB is an excellent pattern designed to trigger a response from a fish. If natural patterns and presentations aren't working stripping a FAB through the water using an aggressive 4-6 strip and pause retrieve can intise a strike.
