Sight Cast Bolivar Blue Crab - 2

The Bolivar Blue Crab draws inspiration from the Redfish's primary food source, the juvenile Blue Crab. Its design incorporates ample movement to entice fish, and effectively imitates a range of crustaceans. While at rest, the hackle located at the rear of the fly fans out in a manner reminiscent of a defensive crab. However, when retrieved in rapid, successive strips, it mimics the motion of a fleeing shrimp. This versatile fly has achieved considerable success in a variety of settings, including shallow flats and backwater marshes.
