Its dry fly season baby!
The purple Buzzball was a trout celebrity on the MO this evening. Sam fishes a prototype rod, with a gold reel seat (whoa) that later evolved into the Project One . The excitement was so heavy with Sam that it took a few tries to keep the fish hooked. Though, when dry fly fishing, keeping your heart rate down is next to impossible. Fred didn’t get a fish on camera but if know Fred, he caught a few. The boys were hooked up with a free boat shuttle but later found out why it was free.
Mike Bushley answered his phone thankfully and they were back in Sam’s pickup in no time. On the drive back, Fred updates everyone that TFP will be dropping hooks! That’s not even the cool part, the cool part that this was 5 years ago… Hooks were the update. As I write this, the update is a new rod, reel, fly line and apparel.
